Renovation and Halloween Party! I dropped by mid-evening for the annual Halloween party and to check out the renovations. Outside the parking lot is the same with lots of broken glass etc, but there is a new sidewalk leading up to the entrance and a new awning. Inside it looks to be a complete renovation, with the main feature being the new single stage replacing the (more than 20 year old) layout of one main stage with two auxiliary stages. The new stage is an irregularly shaped cross like affair that dominates the room. It is lower than the old stages and has a small wall topped by a sill running around the perimeter and is surrounded by captain style chairs bolted to the floor. Lighting and pole arrangement are typical, with the lighting being slightly brighter than before. Gone are the chairs that lined the walls. There are lots of new video screens around the outer walls, and new oak woodwork. Also plenty of new faces with very cute Halloween costumes – and everyone seemed to be in a very good mood. The lapdance area has been expanded so no longer the overcrowded mess it had been before with new ‘private’ cubicles to one side. All in all vast improvement with plenty of the old charm still in evidence, particularly when/where it counts. Highly recommended.
