I've been to Christies twice in...

I've been to Christies twice in the last week (a Friday night, 10 pm and Tuesday night, same time), and I like what I see. It's an upscale, well decorated club with great sound, good service and friendly staff. I met the manager the first night I was there when he came around to say hello and make sure things were going well. That's nice and unusual service for clubs in Memphis. Drinks were cold and quick (beer - $4.75 I think). The DJ is good.....he works with the dancers to entertain which is more than most DJs do. Girls were good....plenty of variety for every taste. Layla is a tall, slim blonde with freaky things to say in your ear. And her friend Shadow can back up the things Layla whispers. They'll work as a team for the asking in the VIP and this is a treat if duos are your taste. The hostess at the front door tried to snitch $5 from my change for herself when I went back on Tues. so watch and count your change. I believe her name was Christy. This aside, this is a great club. Parking is safe and well lighted. Enjoy....
