The club has one room when...

The club has one room when you enter with a bar, then another room where the dancers remove clothing beyond. Like many NYC clubs, it is quite small and a little awkwardly shaped. What I mean is that you can't really watch the stage show from every seat because of odd angles, pillars in the room, etc. It is a little dingy, too, but not in a way that I would describe as dirty. Drinks (beer was all I had) were expensive, but not moreso than other NYC clubs.

Though the place was moderately crowded (at about 11 on a Thursday evening), there was still room to sit, and it was easy to get attention from dancers--more than enough employed that everyone who wanted to be sitting with a woman or receiving a private dance had the opportunity. I would describe the women as friendly, and only moderately pushy (especially compared to the dancers in many other NYC clubs--it is a plus that they will talk to you before asking for a dance, and they do not instantly turn away if you say no). The women are mostly thin and attractive, very natural bodies for the most part, I thought. That is, not surgically enhanced.

I received dances from two women, both rare in NYC clubs in that they weren't Eastern European. One was a blonde South African woman named Erika and another was a (surprise!) American girl named Rachel. Both dances were done on a couch against the wall, and both involved much contact (one-way). Rachel, who was very petite, provided more contact, but that's no complaint about how wonderful Erika's dance was.
