It's Albuquerque, so lower your expectations. But once you do, Gold isn't that bad of a club. I've been here and to TD's North, and I like the vibe at Gold better. Gold knows it's a club in a fourth rate city and just rolls with it; North tries to give off some fancy shit vibe and fails.

In town for business for a few days, went on a Monday night around 9 or so. Started off reasonably busy but by no means packed. Maybe about 10-12 girls to start and that dwindled down throughout the night, along with the customers. Cover was $5, but there's a free pass on their website - but really, it's just $5 so the pass isn't even worth the hassle. Beer prices weren't out of line, $4 happy hour (until 9, IIRC) and $5 after. Wound up staying fairly late, 1-ish. Only about 3 customers at that point, and 2 girls.

Pretty good size club, one main stage with a smaller side stage that nobody danced on all night. Decent variety of girls - white and latino mostly, couple of black girls as well. A few on hefty side if that's your thing. If they were in Vegas, South Florida, etc., they'd be 4s to 7s, but like I said to begin with, lower your expectations - any port in a storm. Once you accept that you're trapped in the middle of nowhere in the American Southwest, the girls probably rate 6s to 9s. Girls are generally pretty friendly. Saw a couple who were definitely divas, but that's not the majority of them. Nobody I saw or talked to was real high pressure, they pretty much take no if that's your answer and move on.
