I haven't been to this place...

I haven't been to this place in quite some time, and I was reminded why when I dropped in on a whim the other night. It was late, and there were very few customers, although the atmosphere and look of the place have picked up, as has the dancer quality. They were using some kind of vapor to give the place a smokey kind of feel (you know, like dry ice), and they shine these green lasers throughout the room, which gives it a nice feel. The music style was good, and the volume was very acceptable, so things seem to have improved a bit.

I probably won't be going back, even though I must confess that I did have quite a nice time. It's just that I felt like I was being sold a bill of goods the whole time I was there, with many hints of expected expensive up-sell, but with no real delivery, as I will explain.

First, they took $20 at the door, and the guy in the booth told me there is no drink requirement after the $20, but once I came in, a hostess insisted that I had to buy a drink. It's no big deal, but it dampens the feeling, if you know what I mean. Then, I sat down at a stage (they have 2, and when they're a bit busy, they move the girls from stage 1 to stage 2, 2 songs on each), and almost immediately, Shay (Sheigh?) came up to dance. Boy, is she hot. Very toned, slim, lithe, and classy, plus a very pretty face, with big eyes and classic features. She was so gorgeous I followed her from Stage 1 to Stage 2 and tipped her well both times.
