I came here early Saturday night....

I came here early Saturday night. There were two bouncers at the door patting another customer down before letting him in when I got there and a dancer was waiting in front of me and before they let her in they searched her purse. There was a $5 cover charge and a rum and coke was $7.50.

They have a new VIP room, which I didn't ask about. Lap dance prices are set by the dancers and are anywhere from $20 for two songs to $20 for one song. Lap dances happen on a row of benches that's behind a heavy curtain that you can't see through, but if you're sitting at one of the bars you can see down the row of benches because there isn't a curtain at the end. I was told, "they don't really watch" the lap dances and it was implied that lap dances are high mileage. For a $1 tip on stage, there is high mileage contact and they also have $1 floor dances which are the same thing.

The dancers were about half black and about half white. There were a couple of older white men and a bunch of young black men as customers. I felt uncomfortable and out of place. Ethnic clubs aren't my favorite, I prefer clubs where the customers and dancers are mainly white.
