Made some quick visits to a few local clubs this past Thursday. Started at Club Desire. Dancers were slow to come strolling in so I only stayed a half hour there. Visited the Foxy Lady, but was turned off by one overweight dancer who kept hounding me for dances. Note to clubs: the quickest way to get me to leave is by having even a single overly aggressive, verbally harassing, condescending dancer on duty. I don't want to hear your sob stories. Also, learn how to take "no" for an answer and move on.

Decided to make one last stop at Cadillac. Far and away the most dancers (I'd say at least 20 at 2pm) working the floor here out of the three clubs. Also far and away the most variety of girls. I've been struck (and disappointed) by how few Latinas I see working at most of the RI clubs when I'm there, but Cadillac had a decent amount.

Girls are very friendly, although I did notice a little catfight between two girls when one of the dancers was late to come to the stage. After a few girls approached me, I started noticing that they don't ask, "How are you?" when they introduce themselves, but instead, "What do you like to do when you come here?" I didn't think anything of it at first, but then I began figuring out real quick this isn't a club where you are expected to just sit around, have a few beers, and tip at the stage. Expectations are different. I did really enjoy hearing dancers' sales pitches, which involved a surprisingly high amount of fondling on their part (on my part).
