My first return visit in about...
My first return visit in about a year. Was last here just before the remodeling, and do generally like the upgrades. An employee told me that management is considering removing the riser/cage/stage by the long wall where the old stage was. Currently it is laid out for guest live DJs and VIPs, but only gets a few hours of use a week for those activities, so they might re-purpose the space. The new "main stage" is a long, skinny raised stage in the middle of the room with in-floor lighting and seating all around. Better for viewing dancers, but on the afternoon I was there it was not often used, and when it was there was little attention paid to the solo dancers except by their current customer.
Was pleased to recognized two dancers from my last-year's visit. Had conversations and 2-for-$20 dances with each. Usual generous touching allowed above the waist, but noticed a somewhat increased push to go for the VIP rooms, which I declined. Played "guess the ages" with several of the ladies, and I was surprised to learn that several of the really hot ones were in their 40s. I had honestly guessed them to be late 20s. One dancer approached me several times hinting at her above-the-norm but below-the-belt skills in the VIP rooms, but I just wasn't feeling her, and vice versa.
Also met and got floor dances from a few obviously younger artistes, and found them both to be cute but dumb. They attempted meaningful, or ar least *constant* conversation, but we just did not click. Looks like I'm headed toward actually preferring the senior circuit dancers.
