I travel through Lexington on occasion, but never normally stop. On this trip, I happened to pull off for gas at Exit 104 (I-75) however, and lo and behold, there was the Spearmint Rhino sign. It was about 4pm on a Saturday, so I decided to check it out before continuing my trip.

This is a surprisingly upscale place, and although a Rhino property, seems to have its own local flavor and rules. Free parking, low entry price (less than $5 for the two times I went), and cheap drinks (under $3) in the daytime. Inside is lots of crushed velvet seating, large and small stages, and nicely upholstered LD rooms - no rips, no tears. Again, a pleasant surprise and certainly welcomed, compared to other clubs I've frequented.

At the time I went, there were no customers and the day girls were nil - two AA dancers, one cute (Dream, I think), the other not (forgot her name). The not-cute one though, was off the charts mileage-wise in the open nude LD room (During special 2-for-$30 nude dances). I can only imagine in the curtained LD rooms (normally 2-for-$60, but 3-for-$60 when on special) or the VIP (~$150/30 mins, I think). And what she lacked in physical hotness, she made up for with personality. The hot one wasn't bad either, but more mechanical and less liberal.
