New York New York is easy to find being located just a short drive off of the Springboro, Franklin I-75 exit into Franklin. The location is in a safe location with a well-lighted parking lot in the back. The building’s exterior is simple but not run down looking. The interior’s appearance is clearly nicer than that of the exterior. The easy entry included being wanded for weapons and paying a $10 cover charge which I believe was raised from their normal $5 cover for my unexpectedly arriving on a Saturday night on which they had a porn star as a featured dancer. I’d estimate that there were just over 30 customers. The customers appeared to be generally not young college aged and generally not in their late 40’s and up. I observed one couple in the club and one unattached female who may have been with the couple. The customers were all white and no undesirables or drunks were observed so it was a very comfortable environment for me. The environment was even more desirable to me due to their no smoking rule. I understand that Mondays are $10 dance days all day long but there may not be very many dancers or customers, especially during the daytime.

As I entered the club there was a long bar stretching out on my left and a very small glassed in pool room on my right which only had one table and possibly had room for two. Looking ahead there was a long stage coming toward me from the DJ booth in the back. The stage had a dancer pole back near the DJ booth and two poles together on the other end. So they had two girls on stage at a time. On both sides of the stage they had a couple rows of mostly small circular tables with white table cloths. There were also chairs right by the stage that permitted close-up viewing and tipping. They had a semi-private lap dance area behind the DJ booth that had simple bench seats to sit on with dividers between them. The lighting was fairly good in the lap dance area so you can get a good look at your dancer’s eyes and other charms. The club’s rules prohibit touching the dancers and the booths had chrome grab rails to hold on to which I found peculiar. They do have a VIP area but I did not inquire about it. The interior looked clean and nice but it was nothing exceptional. The club is not large but not tiny either. It had plenty of capacity for a weekend night. The club was well lighted inside and you could easily see the dancers and everybody inside the main room. I understand that they have a one drink minimum which I was not told about. A waitress did come to my table shortly after I sat down. I had a soft drink for $3.25 and I have no knowledge of what they charge for beer and what other types of drinks they have. Waitresses came by frequently enough for convenience and they all treated me like I was a valued customer. I also do not know if they offer food or snacks and I did not see any customers with any.

One of my main complaints about this club was their music. It was far too loud for comfortable conversations with your friends, waitresses, or dancers. I also did not like type of music. It was generally some kind of techno-rap and techno-like instrumental that I have never heard before and, in my opinion, most of what I heard was not very good music for the dancers to dance to. Another thing that I found objectionable was the DJ’s loud voice over the already too loud music.
