There are a couple of clubs...

There are a couple of clubs that are either right on or right off of rt 965 in CR. One is right by the airport. This one is a bit up the road. Based on the number of Iowa City girls at this club, I doubt the other club is worth going to these days, but things change and I have no direct experience at Woody's. You can print a pass for free early evening admission to the Lumberyard. That's what I did on two occasions. The club attempts to get talent in the house at the open by progressively increasing the house fees as it gets later in the afternoon. That's right. The later the girls start work, the more they have to pay to work there. The overall level of talent is not what you would find in a big city club. However, the girls are friendly and you can have a good time here. It's a BYOB club, so you are not going to have a bar bill. You can bring in beer and, in fact, the girls will check out what you are drinking and you can make some time by offering a girl a cold one. The stage dancing is kind of hit or miss but it gives you a chance to see talent. The gig here for me was not single lap dances but 15 or 30 minute privates in an upstairs area that contains a bunch of couches and chairs. Before 7 pm, it's 30 min for $200. After 7, it's 15 min for $200. Some of the girls will encourage you to take off your shirt. They will definitely grind on you and encourage hands on nearly all areas. So, essentially, the Lumberyard is a place where you can spend as little or as much as you like. If you find talent you like, treat them well.
