I made visits to 4 different clubs on a recent Monday night: Fox's Den, Alibi Inn, Magic City, and Crazy Horse. The best laps I had were at Fox's Den and Crazy Horse, but they were also the most expensive of the four. Before I left Fox's, which was my first stop, I asked a dancer there if I should go to Alibi or Magic City. She said Alibi, and after four disappointing dances there (which you can read about on Alibi's page) I walked over to Magic City.

I arrive around 12:30 to find three dancers and four patrons. Cover was $5. The music was deafening. I got a beer, sat at the bar, and realized that if I didn't ask the one dancer on the floor for a dance it would be a complete waste of time and $5. She consented and gave me a decent dance, but the owner/manager/cover-taker kept a very close eye on us. Feeling like you are under surveillance takes the fun out of dances. Just like at Alibi. And just like the dances there my hands were welcome up top but not much of anywhere else, and there was no freakiness on the dancer's part.

Remembering that I had passed Crazy Horse on the way, I decided to bail and spend a few minutes there.
