My first visit to Cafe Atlantis....

My first visit to Cafe Atlantis. Others have described the layout but here are the key features. Raised stage with two poles and a stair case that ascends to another stage that has a bubbling fish tank and another stripper pole. I only saw one dancer use the higher stage. That stage is far removed from the customers so it might as well have ben closed. Actually the stage performance was surprisingly boring-- sure the dancers got nude but I was very little interaction with the customers, possibly because there was no tip rail and no on stage tipping except for a couple of guys who would lie down on stage with a $5 in their mouth and their hands to side for a brief dance.

A mixture of chairs and tables were scattered around the stage on different levels. The "VIP" area is upstairs. VIP is in quotes because it really should be relabeled as the biohazard zone-- an explanation and the significance will follow. The upstairs consists of smaller, three sided cubicles at the top of the stairs and more private spaces towards the back of the club. When I say more private, that is a relative term-- the more private areas consist of dimly lit spaces containing an old, stained overstuffed arm chair that are separated from other area by low three foot walls.

The dancers were quite attractive in general--- that is reflected in my ratings. Some were a bit thick for my taste and some were silicone enhanced caricatures, but many were decent looking women with pretty good bodies. On a numeric scale, I saw lots of 7s and 8s with an occasional 9. Also another plus, the dancers were pretty willing to talk about extra services that might be available and the cost of those services. So far---much to like about this place.
