Player's has been a my favorite...

Player's has been a my favorite club for a long time now, so it's troubling for me to have to say this, but based on my last few visits, they are starting to slip. Based strictly on my last visit, they've fallen hard!

I stopped in last week on a Thursday, about 7:30. I always appreciate the warm welcome from the valets and bouncers, and that experience was as usual. The club was moderately full, maybe 20 - 30 guys or so in there. Sat at the bar and the bartender was cute in a girl next door way, sweet and reasonably efficient.

This was the last of the good part of this visit. They only had one girl up dancing, and maybe 4 or 5 hanging around. I was willing to blame this on the dreaded shift change phenomenon (although I don't understand what the point is of even having "shifts" if no one shows up for them), but I hung around until around 9:00 and it never got any better. Saw some more dancers coming in, but they never made an appearance in the club before I left. Hell, at one point there was no one on stage for a couple of songs.
