On my first trip to Phoenix...

On my first trip to Phoenix in many years, I stopped by TUSCL.net first to get a recommendation. Bourbon Street was the top rated club, so I went there on a Tuesday night and was not disappointed in the least.

Bourbon Street is a typical one story building with not very much on the outside. Stepping in after paying the reasonable cover ($10), I thought it was darker than the usual club (lower light level), but my eyes adjusted after a while. There are three stages (only two were working when I got there at about 9:30). The girls were dancing to one song on each stage. The stages are pretty small. There hardly seems enough room for pole tricks and I didn’t see any girls trying to do tricks the whole time that I was there. A big bar covers the front of the room. Standard small tables and the same chairs as every other club fill the main room.

It club was not crowded at all; the music was at a reasonable level most of the time. As usual, the waitresses were pretty hot and they bring free popcorn to your table when you sit down. I don’t drink so I can’t tell you what the prices are like, but the water bottle was a fairly normal five bucks.
