Visited Ken's for a few minutes...

Visited Ken's for a few minutes Tuesday night and like the last reviewer I was disappointed by what I saw. management has decided to cash in while they can and has upped the cover charge (now $12 instead of $10) and the drink charge now $5 instead of $4) as well as upping the total number of drinks each dancer is supposed to sell from 5 to 7. The waitress and the dancers were much pushier about selling the drinks which is a real negative in my book. Also there were nowhere near as many hot girls as there have been in my last few visits. There were 2 or 3 nice ones, but probably not more than a dozen total and most were just average or slightly below. I just stayed long enough to see Layla, Pandora, and 2 others on stage, and only Layla looked like she was trying. They announced a 2-for-1 as I walked in and I only saw 2 girls even ask guys for dances and I didn't see any takers. They announced another one right before I left and I saw three girls who had already staked their claim on guys take them upstairs, but nobody else even tried. Pretty sad considering Ken's has been the best club in Nashville lately. I only talked to one girl and she didn't even introduce herself, she just sat down and asked if I'd buy her a drink. When I declined she complained that she had to sell 7 and hadn't sold a single one yet. I told her that maybe she should try talking to the guys for a minute or two before hitting them up for a drink and she said "I ain't got time to waste with that crap". Nice attitude! I rated this visit a 4 simply because Layla was worth the cover charge IMHO. She was the only thing that kept me from dropping a 1 on this visit.
