Last week while in Syracuse I had a couple of hours to kill before catching my flight back home and thought that I'd check out Diamond Dolls instead of hanging out at the airport. This place sits on a pretty busy thoroughfare among a mixture of small businesses and if you blink you'll miss it along with the very narrow driveway leading to parking in the back of the building so be alert while driving to it or you'll end up needing to make a U turn like I did at first. Inside, the decor is dated and a bit run down and I felt like the place could use a good coat of paint. The interior is quite bright for a strip club which I found a bit odd but it didn't really detract from the experience so no big deal there.

After you pass the greeter you'll find some tables of various sizes surrounding the stage off to the left and 6 or 7 secluded booths for private dances off to the right. The "bar" is a smallish affair located in the far left corner of the room and once there you will find only non alcoholic drinks available for purchase. Additionally this is where you'll need to go and pay for any private dances if that is on your agenda. There is a menu taped to the bar that spells out your options which makes it quite easy to review the investment required for various private dances (topless vs full nude for example).

I chose a small table off to the left of the stage and settled in with a Coke to watch the talent for a couple hours. There were 7 other patrons there while I was there at 2:00pm in the afternoon and in addition to the young lady at the entrance of the club and a another working the bar I counted 4 dancers on duty. All of the dancers I saw initially appeared to be 30+ and all ranged from a little chubby to downright chunky which does not appeal to me personally but I stuck it out anyway in hopes that I missed someone or that the evening shift might start rolling in and bring more talent to the mix. All of the dancers went through a 3 song set going from bikini clad to full nude in progression. After their set each one walked the room to say thanks, ask for tips and try to sell lap dances. I tipped each of them but was not inclined to take anyone up on the lap dance offer.
