I wrote positive things about this...
I wrote positive things about this club last month, but now I'm giving up on DV because its policies are just too much for me. The employees are okay, but the club rules force them to engage in continual hustling. Waitresses are required to constantly ask you if you want to buy the lady another drink (or suffer her mandatory departure). Also, dancers are required to circulate and seek dances during every uptime, and uptimes seem to occur after approximately every other set. If you're in the middle of a conversation with a pretty dancer and an uptime ocurs, you have to buy another dance or risk losing her for a prolonged period of time. Even if you're being the most generous customer in the entire club, they still cut you no slack. There's no relief from the constant pressure for new money. Waitresses sometimes don't even wait until a girl's drink is finshed before they're back demanding more money for another refill. If you wish to make friends with someone, before you know it you can spend $150 for some conversation and some low-mileage dances. The unrelenting pressure makes short-term business sense for them, but they've lost my business on a longer-term basis. The club is too expensive for what it offers, in my opinion.
