Went to Heartbreakers one afternoon while passing through Columbia. I knew it would be closing soon and wanted to see if it had changed in its last days.

I went in and grabbed a table toward the rear. There didn’t seem to be much going on. Both the main stage and the small satellite stage were in use. I tipped a few dancers at the satellite stage, but no one really impressed me all that much. Most of the dancers were what I had come to expect from the majority of previous visits; a few girls who looked OK, but were with their regulars, plus a few that weren’t my type (too old, fat, or not attractive).

One blonde came out of nowhere, sat down beside me and pushed hard to get me in the back for a private dance. I told her I wasn’t interested at that time; really I didn’t want to commit to a dance until I got a better look when she was standing up. After several attempts to change my mind, she got called up to the stage. When she stood up I could see she had a decent gut on her. Glad I passed!
