I was back in Quebec City, so I decided to stop into the Cabaret Lady Mary Ann for a couple beers. Not much has changed since my review dated December 31, 2011 below.

I first stopped by the club around midnight on a Thursday evening. The lobby was clogged with about twenty or thirty young guys in groups. More people were coming into the club, and people were cutting each other off in line to buy admission ($8) and check their coats ($2). I just turned around and walked out because it wasn’t worth waiting fifteen minutes to get into an already packed club.

I made a second visit around 8:00pm on Friday evening, beating the crowds of young bucks this time. The cover charge was $8. You are given a ticket and then escorted to either a table or bar stool by one of the bouncers. You are expected to tip the bouncer once at your spot; a two dollar coin per person in your party is usually sufficient. A beer cost $7.50. Lap dances cost $20. There is a free happy hour buffet from 5-8pm on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Like every bar in Quebec, there are a few video slot machines in the corner.
