The Post is a nice midday...

The Post is a nice midday getaway spot in NNJ. In a decent nook of Paterson with ample front and side parking. Definitely neighborhood bar feel with lots of regulars...white collar, blue collar, and no collar customers make for a midday motley crew at the bar. Looks like management puts some effort into their weekly food and drink deals which is nice. Manager sits right at the entrance and is friendly. Bartenders are usually busy but have been sweethearts each visit. I heard a couple dancers comment that they didn't like the lighting inside recently but I had no issue with it. The upper and lower stage set-up is interesting...if your sitting at either extreme end of the bar you may have a hard time seeing any action on the other side.

Girls are attractive; good solid mix of ethnicity and body types... All seem friendly and get along with each other, and may have time to chat with you during the day shift if their regular isn't occupying them. Not going to see any routines to athletic on the stage or poles though. Dollar parade is present and the only seating options are bar-side so be prepared. LD rooms as mentioned in other reviews are semi private...a few not-so private booths near the front of the corridor and two in the back that have a little more intimacy. No manager/bouncer check-ins during my dances so far. Never been here at night, but for a quick day break The Post delivers.
