I don't know if Wednesday is...

I don't know if Wednesday is an especially bad day for strip clubs in Wisconsin or I just got unlucky this time. It was in June this year and I hit four WI clubs - this one and three in Wisc. Rapids. None of them were pleasant visits.

At Vegas there was only one dancer and she was sitting at the bar. Looked a little bedraggled and her blond hair seemed lifeless. She came and sat next to me and tried to get me to take her private but I wasn't inspired. She'd just moved from West Virginia and seemed a little rough around the edges. I'm not prejudiced against mountaineers. I have some of that heritage myself. But I do expect at strip club dancer to show a little enthusiasm for her work. She talked about hunting deer and said she'd moved to WI to get away from a man, but she is OK now. I've had pretty good times at Vegas in the past but this was pretty much a downer, except that the food is good and inexpensive. Beers are reasonable as well. There was not cover, probably because they only had the one dancer.

If this were my only experience at Vegas I'd say "Don't bother" but I'd recommend dropping in if you're in the area just to see what's going on. But don't go out of your way.
