For my first visit to the Palace, I would say it was a bust. I went to the back first, then went to the front just long enough to have a beer.

After pulling in I parked near the back because that's where I wanted to start. The back door isn't marked or denoted in anyway. I walked into a small foyer with a guy sitting watching a small tv. I gave him the fifteen dollar entrance, which he in turn handed to the guy in the window who you pay for dances and receive change from. He gave me a little red ticket, that I have no idea what it was for and I never did. You enter into a single room long enough to hold maybe 30 seats total of both sides and just wide enough to accommodate those seat and allow people to pass behind them. I would guess maybe 20’ wide by about 50’ long. Stage is at floor level with a kneeling rail on either side and a single pole near the front of the room. Chairs are of the metal stacking variety and showed their age for sure. A jukebox adorns the wall on the right side of the club along the back wall. Restrooms are opposite to that on the left. The front left side of the club is where the private dances are held. There could have been more near the restrooms, but I did not investigate the restroom so I don’t know. Posh would not be a word I would use for this club.

I took a seat on the right side of the stage. There were five dancers in attendance that I could see. An older woman with short dark hair, not bad looking, but showed her age; a twenty something blonde that was heavy with ghetto tattoos; a light skinned sister with some piercings and tattoos and long dyed hair that I would almost guess was extensions; a darker sister that had curves for days; and a younger brunette that was an amazon with big implants. The latter would be the belle of the ball, but overhearing discussions that this was her first day, she was wisely avoided.
