The Brass Stables is an interesting place. It's more of the sleazy place that you end up at after a night of drinking because nowhere else is open (this is exactly why I ended up here; it's the most honky tonk after hours place downtown). The Brass Stables is BYOB, though you have to pay extra for every beer that you bring in, plus more on top of that to get ice to chill your beers. I have never been there for the actual stripper show part, but at 3am when we ended up there, there was a very nice 'dancer' leading karaoke. I think it might have been a fun time, if we hadn't all been so annoyed at the idea of having to pay cover, plus more money for every beer we brought in, and for ice on top of it all. Also the interesting crowd that is there at 3am, is usually made up of the guys that have been staring at the dancers the entire night. Karaoke with the lead dancer was actually pretty fantastic but there is no way I'll end up in here again, unless dragged or extremely inebriated. Just to be clear before all the other bars let out, the Brass Stables is an "exotic dance" theatre.
