RIP-OFF ALERT! This club seems to have fell down the "bad management" hole of milking their customers and making the experience unnecessarily expensive and unpleasant.
First clue: Daytime arrival before 2 PM was free in the past; this time they asked for $10. When I said "when did it change from being free" they backed off and said "oh, if you say something, you still get in free." So, you just take advantage of the newbies/uninformed/passive?
Next clue: Once inside, a dancer I've never seen before goes behind the bar (dancing bartenders are typical here) and tells me "two drink minimum -- $14." I say "Since when?" since it's been one drink for the year+ I've been coming here. She says "It's always been that way." Lying sack of oversized thighs.
Oh, even before she got that lie out, she asked "Don't you want to buy Ho-Bag (I can't remember her real name) a drink?" (Ho-Bag, another dancer I'd never seen before -- thank God since she was fat and ugly -- had slithered up behind me and chorused "Yeah, buy me a drink.".) Admitting her lie, the Bar-Belle then said "Maybe you bought drinks for Ho-Bag last time, like you should now." I'd never experienced a drink push here before, and here they were pulling the full court press before I even sat down!?
I looked around, saw no other customers, saw none of the usual good girls, and knew this was going to be a train wreck; so I just silently turned around and walked right out with my unspent wad of dance cash in my pocket. I just will not patronize a "service" business that SHOULD be all about making my experience a good one, and I'd urge all my fellow PLs to do the same.
