I paid a visit to Lookers...

I paid a visit to Lookers Friday night and walked away sorry that I hadn’t discovered it sooner. The club was clean, friendly (dancers, bartender, and customers), and more intimately laid out than I expected. There’s no alcohol, which to me is an acceptable trade-off when you have a good nude club. The daytime cover is $10, while at night it costs $15 to get in. But if you go during shift-change on Friday or Saturday (7pm-8pm), you get in free. Drinks are $5, which is a little high for Coke and Vitamin Water, but pretty much in-line with what other clubs are charging. Private dances are nude (naturally) and cost $22 for four-minutes and $80 for 15 minutes. There are buy-two-get-one-free specials Friday and Saturday.

But face it, a strip club is about the girls, and this is where Lookers shines. There were about ten girls working Friday. Maybe I caught the club on an especially good night, but all the dancers were pretty to beautiful—with most of them easy 8s and 9s. Tipping at the stage is fun, with plenty of up-close-and-personal opportunities, including the occasional lap-sitting.

There’s a lot of hustling for private dances. On the upside, the girls are great at making customers feel genuinely welcome, and if you’re with a dancer you’re really attracted to, it can be fun. But if the club isn’t crowded—as was the case on Friday—you’re bound to be hustled a lot and miss dancers on stage who you really wanted to see. (I guess I’m not very good at brushing off a friendly dancer.)
