I stopped in for lunch at TD's North a few of weeks ago after not having gone in 6 months or so, mostly due to reduced work hours on my part. It has changed a bit. It looks like the city ordinance is kicking in, the door to the VIP room was left open all the time, even when dances were being given, and the lighting seemed higher. I think that kills any chance of an intimate experience in there, which I suspect is what the city fathers wanted. They have put in a new VIP room in one of the corners that has no door and individual booths. It is fairly well lit, but privacy seems, at least to me, to be better than with the new VIP room. I had a couple of dances from Diane in there and the experience was a s good, that is to say great, as it was in the old VIP room. There is no charge to get into the new VIP room.
They have also reduced the number of tables and chairs so it is easier to get around, but, with the addition of the new VIP room, it is not so easy to find a little place in the corner for regular dances.
As one would expect, there were new dancers and most of the ones that were here 6 months ago are gone. That may be a sign of the declining patronage from people like me, for whom less work has made disposable income harder to come by. I hope that the economy picks up .
