I went there on a Friday...
I went there on a Friday night at 2 am. I don't really like the big expensive clubs with the fake boobs. I'm more into the down to earth laid back clubs with average looking girls, so this one seemed like it was right up my alley. You enter into a small room, sort of store front. While the giant sign says, "NO COVER." The man behind the desk explained there was "a two drink minimum and drinks are ten dollars.... ten dollars please." This annoyed me. 1. because if you wanna charge $20, just charge it, people will pay, don't try to spin it like your customers are idiots; and 2. it's an all nude club so I essentially paid $20 for two cokes.
Anyway, I was the only one in the club. At 2 am. On Friday night. In Las Vegas. This is a red flag. I sat down and immediately was hounded by a bunch of girls introducing themselves and telling me about them. It was overwhelming. One dancer made it very clear that she does do "work outside the club if you can't afford what we do inside the club." Classy. I might have taken her up on it, if I wasn't sharing a hotel room.
The racket is this: $250 for a bed dance. That's up to 30 minutes in a private room with a bed and "whatever you do in there is between you and the girl." Read between the lines. Or $20 for a lap dance in a private room for one song. I asked one dancer for a lap dance. You pay the manager, not the girl, which I found to be odd. They kept pushing for the bed dance and all i wanted was a damn lap dance. The manager upped it to 30 right away. I was tired of negotiating so I paid it. The dance was fantastic. Mileage for days. After half a song, the manager barges in and says "OK that's it. Can I interest you in a private bed dance?" I passed. Not because I didn't want to, but because I don't like being pushed around like that. I have no conflict with what a strip club is. I get it. I'm not a fool. But enough is enough.
