The club itself is one of a kind; it's no Vegas leather-and-lace, perfume and roses kind of joint. This is bar that somewhere along the line picked up a bunch of wild and fun naked chicks (and at the same time lost the alcohol part, since this is Seattle after all - not to worry, though, there is a real bar right next door!) complete with groovy interior decor and a pool table, the dancers and bar tenders (all women that i've seen) dj their own sets and spend more than an average amount of time circulating the small table area talking it up with the visitors. i had a great, great time - very relaxing and very not what i expect from a strip club. if you want Ricks, go to Ricks. if you're looking for a great time with some fantastic, eager to please ladies, hit the Sands! the VIP area is pretty much just a too-well-lit cordoned off area with some chairs, so not much privacy but to be honest, i couldn't care less. i had a terrific time on two occasions with mercedes, who was one of the most legitimately fun strippers i've encountered. not the youngest, not even necessarily the hottest in terms of raw physical appeal but she knows why she's there (and why you're there) and works hard for her $$. easily worth the $40 dances.
