Others have mentioned this on previous reviews of Columbus area clubs but I must once again declare that Columbus area clubs just don't get it. I have been to Centerfold's, Sirens, Kahoots and now CG. They are all fine, just not great when it comes to dance quality & prices vs. most other cities. My experience at CG was far and away the worst of the Columbus area clubs. I arrived around 8 pm with a fistful on money and ready for fun. The club itself is nice, good layout, nice semi-indoor smoking area. I proceeded to have numerous beers and cocktails. The Asian waitress was hot but strictly serving drinks, not there to yuck it up which is fine b/c she was reasonably busy. Now for the girls and dance situation.......a variety of quality level but everything from meth teeth chunkers to solid 8s. One girl who was a 6ish sat down, we chatted for a few and she asked if I'd buy her a drink. I asked how much they are and she said $20 so I laughed and then politely declined. What a racket and a great way to turn off the customer - not the girl's fault BTW, the club's. Over 3-4 hours I talked to about four girls each of whom was so focused on doing a 4 for $100 that I was never even inspired to give any of them a test drive with a $20 one song deal. The last thing I want to do is burn $100 on some queen of the air dance. I usually will get several dances from a variety of girls. This may have been the only SC trip that I've ever gone to that I had a bunch of drinks, hung around for multiple hours and had zero dances. I will not be back.
