XTC has several clubs in the Texas area, and XTC South in Houston is the first club I have been to of the franchise. The location is a bit difficult to find (if you use Apple maps, it will wrongly point you to some neighborhood behind the club).

First, let me start with the good arguments. The club atmosphere is friendly, the staff is courteous, and the girls have a nice diversity of races. Although the area is one of the dubious suburbs of Houston, I never felt any danger going here late at night alone. However, the next point is one of the primary reasons why I recommend this place. The prevalent benefit of XTC South is the cost. If you factor in the dollar to entertainment value, this club is one of the best in Houston.

Now, here are the bad details. I kind of wish this website gave a rating for music. Because the music the “DJ” chooses to play at this club is horrid. It is loud, obnoxious, 90’s esc indie rap. Really?! Why can’t the club play something normal like Top 40, EDM, or Rock. The other bad thing I remember is the lack of dancers. One evening I went, the dancer customer ratio was about 1:12. That is atrocious for a strip club.
