On a recent trip to the Miami area for business, I decided to venture out from where I was staying to try to relax and enjoy a chill evening out. After doing a little research, I decided upon Scarlett’s Cabaret which is located in a suburb of Miami. I was staying in the South Beach area, so it was a bit of a drive to get there but ultimately I think it was worth it. The biggest challenge was getting off of the highway to get to the club. The exit I needed to take was closed, so I had to take the next one and circle back and then navigate around all of the construction that was going on. (The club location is not the easiest to get to anyway, so this just added to the confusion for a new visitor.) Once there you can either valet or self-park, and since there was parking in front of stores that were closed at the time the choice was easy.
I walked up to the club’s main entrance and was promptly greeted by the door man and cashier, both of whom seemed genuinely friendly. The cover for the evening was $10 and after I paid he remove the velvet rope and actually said “Welcome to Scarlett’s and have a great time.†Nice touch. Upon entering the room, I checked out the overall layout of the club. In the middle of the main floor area was the main stage with a pole on either end. Around the main stage were three satellite stages with two right below an elevated VIP area which had a massive stadium sized video display. I mean the thing was huge! The other stage was located just directly across the room in what appeared to be another “VIP†area. I decided to go to the men’s room before sitting down and it’s located in one of the far corners away from the main entrance. It was relatively clean and there was an attendant with the requisite soap and towel, breath mints, cologne, and pretty much anything you might need or want to feel fresh. Upon re-entering the club I found a great location by on the two satellite stages. The waitress came by and introduced herself and took my drink order. She came back and we chatted a little so I told her this was my first time there. She smiled and said that I was in for a good time and to ask her for anything I might need. (One thing I should note is that the drinks are ok as they tasted a little “light†on the pour, especially for $8 a pop.) The club also was extremely loud for a strip club, so that contributed to the dance club vibe the club has. Now onto the fun.
The women in the place were incredible, and not a single one was out of shape. Not a single one! There were women of various nationalities, but most were Spanish-speaking Latinas and Caucasians. There also were a couple of African-Americans and a couple of Asians that night as well. There were a few enhancements, but mostly natural. I spied on slender platinum blond that was just incredible but she seemed extremely popular. There were plenty of other girls to keep me distracted though. One was this dancer who I tipped on the satellite stage that I was sitting next to and she came over after she was done with her stages. She came over and introduced herself, but this is where the Spanish language challenge came up. I had trouble understanding some of the girls due to their English speaking ability, but we found other ways to communicate. After chatting a bit, I decided to get some dances from her and went to the private dance areas where the dances were $25 per song. There are cameras all over the place, so the fun is somewhat constrained but it was a good time nonetheless.
