Every once in a while I'll give this place another shot and then wonder why I did. I'll try to soften my comments by prefacing all statements with the disclaimer that it could just be me, but Silver City continues to strike me as a second-tier club. For some, that's a positive. Those clubs tend to employ the more permissive entertainers. But I'm old and stuffy and actually like the "gentlemen" aspect of a gentlemen's club, in that the clientele isn't comprised largely of guys you could imagine finding passed out drunk in the restroom at a Kid Rock concert.

So, first off, the girls who work here tend not to be top-tier, because top-tier girls will gravitate toward more upscale clientele. You sense that a good percentage of the girls used to be top-tier years ago, and are at the same point on the career bell curve as Alex Rodriguez. Fucking incredible once, but now not so much.

The set-up of the joint is a bit off-putting too. A large percentage of the floor space is sectioned off into higher-rent real estate with the general admission dance areas brightly lit and conspicuously situated so as to make them as inhospitable as possible. The whole place has an "upsell feng shui" air about it as a result. And, like the talent, the decor strikes one as a bit worn and dated.
