Industrial Strip is my go-to in the Chicagoland area. Well worth the 25 minute drive from the city, especially when compared to the clubs in Chicago or elsewhere in Illinois. It's not a huge club but big enough not to feel too confined. Reasonable cover (depends on night - I don't think I've ever paid more than $10) and say what you want but even though they don't serve alcohol, a red bull for $3 isn't that bad. Neither the servers or dancers have ever been pushy in any way, and most of the dancers are quite friendly overall. Generally private dances are in a fairly private room in the back and run $25-30/song or 3 for $60. Most importantly, the dances are full contact (within reasonable guidelines) so there is WAY more friction than most clubs (again, especially relative to Chicago).

I'd rate the dancers an 8 overall. On a Friday or Saturday night there will definitely be a good number of 8-10s but you will of course find several 5-8s. I don't think I've ever seen less than a 5 at IS. They also have a pretty good variety of dancers - blonde, brunette, black, Latina, busty, petite and so forth. I think the VIP upstairs is $150/half hr but that could have changed in the past year - I usually stick to the 3/$60.

All considered this is one of my favorite clubs around, Chicagoland or not. it was a bit more enjoyable when you could smoke inside but still overall well worth the trip and great value.
