It is difficult to put into words how the Hugger compares to other clubs. The atmosphere has been well documented in other reviews, but the real value in the Hugger is the dancers. There are some of the dancers that are very pretty in the strip club sense. They have fake breasts, botoxed faces, tight bodies and plastic smiles. Other girls are more natural. The girls are very friendly. I have been a regular for several years and recently was seeing one dancer exclusively. I do not recommend this approach as the drama level can get quite high if you are like me and hope that some one you pay a bunch of money to would be grateful. She is an amazing dancer with amazing tattoos and a smoking hot body. Despite her age, she looks good. I am over 50 so her advanced age was a turn-on to me. She is very skilled at her dancing and knows how to regulate the heat. The Hugger is famous for heat. She of course never offered pay for play and I never asked. In nine years I have never been approached like that at the Hugger. She likes you to massage her and is not a huge grinder, but I personally prefer the more sensual approach to dancing. She does like to drink and if she is very buzzed, the dance quality can vary dramatically even within the same song. She is well worth a dance if you have never had a dance with a tattoed body builder type. There are other younger dancers who are big on grinding away and will get right in your face as well. I do think the Hugger takes some getting used to as far as getting dances, but give the girls a break; any new face to them could be the excise police looking to issue a $500 fine for not having the pasties on. Once you have been there a few times, the dancers will know that you are cool.
