In Portland for some R&R and went to Casa Diablo . Been before, as I couldn't resist a Vegan Strip Club, but I enjoyed this visit much better.
The major issue I have with CD (and this is really more of a City of Portland issue) is that the club is out in the middle of nowhere and taxis in the City are few and far between.
Okay, that off my chest, I have to recommend CD. The style continues Portland's ethic originally associated with the Suicide Girls. No plastic implants (that I could see), softer bodies, tattooed and with a generally alternative look. That may not be everybody's preference, but it does have its appeal - and can make a nice change.
To sit by the stage, you have to throw $2 for the dancer for every song. You can tip more if you like, but the $2 is required. In my opinion it's a great idea, and I don't know why more strip clubs don't do this. There are 2 stages (a smaller one with no pole, and a bigger, runway shaped one with 2 poles). Girls do three songs on the stages, with a new one starting for each song. That's great, and keeps the variety going. The majority of the girls are a little softer (heavier) and tattooed. That's not for everybody, but it worked for me.
