From the curb, Blue Parrot doesn't...
From the curb, Blue Parrot doesn't look like much. It's a rather small building to house a strip club, but it tries to make up for that by having the private dance area and vip room upstairs. I went on a Monday night, partly to avoid the drunkenness of Friday and Saturday nights you expect in a club, and partly to take advantage of the $10 lap dances. By midnight, the 15-20 people visiting the club made it feel abit cramped. I can only imagine how it would be with a weekend crowd. The drink selection at the bar was ok, and even free sodas for those not drinking alcohol.
As for the dancers, there was some diversity on the roster. There were the typical bleach blondes with there two or three tattoos that they probably picked out of a book labeled "For Strippers" at their local tattoo studio, and there were the little girls that go up there really work the stage, and there was a girl that was more "filled-out" than the others. Like any club, some dancers better than others. There were one or two that just seemed to be phoning it in because it was a Monday, and not very busy. The Dancers seemed to pay more attention to the regulars than the other guests. I took advantage of the discounted lap dances and got a very good lap dance from a girl named Stacia, who was determined to earn that cash. Later when I took Jenni up for a dance, it was kind of generic.
Taking into account the $10 cover, and $10 dances on Monday, it was a nice place. It's not one of those high class places, but I had a good time and felt like I got my money's worth. I may very well visit again while in the area.
