The Sundowner is a decent place...

The Sundowner is a decent place for a drink and to visit with scantily clad women. The club featured a good selection of attractive women, mostly in the 7-8 range. The stage performances are nude. I did not see a stage performance that was especially memorable but I was told that later in the evening there is some girl on girl stage interaction that is pretty entertaining.

I wasn't in the club very long and I was approached by several dancers. I did partake of VIP dances with two different dancers. The VIP dances are $20 but the private dances are the major weakness of the Sundowner. The VIP dances occur in small cubicles that contain a love seat but no curtain or door for privacy. The cubicles have mirrors which sounds pretty interesting but the mirrors actually make the cubicles much less private to anyone who walks by in the hallway. Both dancers started our private dance by placing a small blanket on my lap--- wtf, must be some local health rule? Neither dancer got nude so I cut the dances off after only one dance. It was very clear that mileage was pretty limited and that extras were out of the question. One of the dancers suggested that I visit the Spa that is located next door to the Sundowner if I was interested in extras. Overall, a disappointing visit to the Sundowner but my expectations were probably unrealistically high and based on my only other visit to the Sundowner five or six years earlier when extras and fun were readily available. Evidently the club had been busted since my last visit and the new owner has clamped down on the fun.

After leaving the Sundowner, I did make a visit to Mints, located closer to town. It was pretty dead, both in terms of dancers and customers, but the VIPs were much more private and I did find a dancer who sent me home happy.
