This was my first return to RT in a couple of years. If thie Thursday night was any indication, the club has gone downhill. Granted when I arrived it was early, around 6 pm, but this club has never been this dead in the evening before. There were two other customers in the club, and dancing only on the main of the two stages. ONe dancer had just finished, and the second was starting as I sat down. I'm being complementary to refer to her as a "dancer" because she did nothing that resembled dancing. Appeared to be either exceedingly bored or on some kind of tranquilizer. On top of that she was only average looking, about a 5 or 6 at best. One guy went up to the stage to tip her, and she never even looked at him. The whole time she was there, she hardly moved, just a little wiggle or mu;scle twitching was all the movement she could muster. I made a comment about her to the guy that tipped her and he said she was there a month earlier when he came to the club, and he was surprised she is still working there. Evidently the Palace is just not attracting the kind of talent it sometimes did in years past. I doubt that I will be going back any time soon.
