Pink Pony Pompano is the newest addition to the Pompano strip club scene. Opened just for a few months - it is physical layout wise - the Super Bowl of Strip Clubs. Located in a small warehouse district at the back pf a side road off of strip club row on Powerline and right down the street from Diamond Dolls. It can be a challenge to find. Once you get there - you have to be impressed by the layout. State of the art look - incredibly high ceilings, three live dance stages, huge screen for games and boxing events - it is really a sharp looking club. Now the the reason why we go to strip clubs... On this Saturday night - business was a little slow but steady. There were about 25 girls working it seemed - maybe more. This is where the story gets a little rough. Of the 25 or so dancers, I do not think I saw more than three that would qualify above a 5. Of the three - they were all 7's or 8's. Hard to believe on what most would consider a big night for strip clubs - the talent pool could be so weak. There were numerous Managers on duty which was nice but only saw one bartender at the main bar. He had his hands full filling waitress orders - those at the bar were complaining - no service. Another thing hard to believe on a Saturday night - 10 Managers working and one bartender and no awareness from the Management that customers were unhappy at the main bar for lack of service. Dances were $10 naked on the floor and $25 in the back from what I could gather. Needless to say, I spent time with two of the decent looking girls on the shift - they were very friendly nice and gave great dances. They definitely made the night worth it. I had to wonder if by later in the night when the club was busier - would you be stuck with the 23 dogs to choose from. If so it would not have been a great experience. Overall the potential of this club is excellent and I am sure over time it will improve on dancer quality as it establishes itself. Management awareness definitely needs some tweeking as well. For now Diamond dolls has to be the first choice in the area and this one a nice diversion every once in a while.
