The last stop... I don't even know
I had a free Saturday night a couple of weeks ago so I decided to do a bit of a research trip to the area's clubs. I hit up three clubs: Lust, Golden Horseshoe, and Elysium. I'll be posting reviews for each.
Stop 3
After such a mixed first two stops of the night, it was probably only fitting that I end the night with such a weirdly mixed visit to Elysium.
Physically this club is a bit of a thrown together, useable mess. It's all essentially a large, square shell that has been remodelled a few times to make a large open main area. There is a medium sized stage right in the center. There are a few seats around the outside and then a few booths behind those. There are small private dance rooms that are each blocked off by a thins curtain. The bathrooms, while large enough and entirely adequate, also have the general feeling of DIY that most of this club has.
This club is, of course, BYOB. There is a soda machine back by the bathroom, but you really can't buy much. The club does have a $20 cover.
There were 10 girls who were surprisingly attractive. Three of them were black, the rest were either white of Hispanic. There were no really unattractive dancers here and there were two or three who would have been right at or near the top of the list from my Lust and GH stops earlier in the night.
I did manage to get a few private dances from some of the ladies. 15 minutes was $100 and 20 was $120. These were oddly affordably, from my point of view. The two I got dances from both gave decent dances, if not great. The skinnier girl was very friendly and allowed a fair degree of two way touching. IT didn't appear like any extras were available. The second dance, from a thicker, busty girl was ok, but her personality sort of ruined things. She allowed some limited two way touching, but she kept trying to upcharge and complain about basically everything. She complained about how much money she made, how dead it was, pretty much everything. She kept asking how much I wanted to spend trying to get ever increasing tips from me. I have no idea if extras were available, perhaps they were, but I was basically taken so far out of the moment by her that I didn't even think to try.
I'll also point out, the other customers were a shady group. There were two guys there that seemed like they were there to rob people. One of those had knife that got taken off of him by the bouncer. These two guys were very wasted and kept having weird interactions with customers, dancers, and everyone else (all while spending no money). I'm honestly not sure why the bouncers didn't throw them out. They just gave off a very negative vibe.
I certainly can't recommend this club, but I can't say it was a disaster, either. It certainly didn't have the very high mileage and super friendly girls of the old days, but it wasn't awful.
