I was an Inner Room virgin,...
I was an Inner Room virgin, but have been reading reviews for a few months and knew the IR was my kind of club. Lots of contact, moderate drinks and it does not break the wallet. I was in Orlando on business and had the afternoon off, so I headed off to Cocoa Beach. The drive was about an hour, the last 5 miles being quite slow. The IR is on the main strip, parking in the rear. There was a woman in the parking lot crying, stating that she needed rent money and the club would not let her dance. I steered clear of her, nothing good could come of this, even though I am a very benevolent person.
The club is very dark inside, and there were lots of girls. I would say at least 15 dancers, and probably equal number of customers. There was no cover during the day, and no fee for parking. One girl was dancing on stage, no one seemed to be tipping nor even paying attention.
I ordered a drink (4.50) and got a free shot with it. Pretty soon I was approached by a small Filipina dancer. There were many dancers, the majority caucasian, a few asians, and maybe one AA. The dancer started massaging my neck, and it was an above average massage. I asked her if she wanted a drink, she ordered a wine, but don't think she really drinks. Her drink was about $7. We talked as she massaged my neck and back for about 20 minutes, and then I agreed to the dance. I really wanted to survey the crowd and situation, but I am a sucker for a good massage.
