Some bemoan this as a “regulars club”. While somewhat true, non-regulars can still have an awesome time at Desire- all it takes $$$! IMO Desire matches Cadillac Lounge and Foxy Lady in the number and consistency of attractive dancers, and with the right lady will meet Caddy’s VIP/Champagne Room experience. Bottom line- if your in Providence you’ll definitely want to make a stop here.

Heres the basics. As you pull into the parking lot, the expensive cars out front will tip you off that this is a “Gentlemen’s Club” with a clientele that is older and better-off then the other clubs. When you enter the clubs lobby theres no metal detector, no showing any ID, no coat check hassle, no attitude, no bullshit! The cover is $10 on weekend nights. After paying the cover, you proceed through double doors into the club with the main stage, side stage and two bars all visible from the door. The restrooms are to your left down a hallway. The entrance to the Champagne Rooms is also to your left before the restrooms. The smoking patio is through a door to the right of the side stage at the far end opposite the entrance. The Lap Dance booths are in the far right corner past the DJ booth and the second bar. Theres many large TV’s so you can enjoy the game as well as the girls. A beer costs $4.75. You can buy a card at the bar that discounts drinks and is worth it if you are in a group- or a very heavy drinker. The dancers usually have there own drinks and unlike other clubs theres no scams to get you to buy the ladies expensive drinks. For the first time visitor, this club will seem rather small- much smaller then Caddy, Foxy and Fantasies. However that’s because only half the club is accessible to patrons who are not members of Lust. Lust is the clubs private members only area on the second floor. The same ladies circulate both downstairs and upstairs at Lust. Anyone can join Lust, you just need to cough up the quarterly membership fee. As this is too much for my budget, I’ll leave the particulars and reviews of Lust to others. On a typical weekend night theres about 25 or so dancers. Although theres not usually a true stunner on the scale of a 9 or 10, most ladies are well above average (7 to 8 range) and theres enough diversity to satisfy nearly anyones taste. Unlike Caddy, Fantasies and Cheaters, theres no fattys, butt ugly, nasty smelly, burnt out druggies or dancers that look like they are older the my mother. Most dancers seem to be in their mid 20s and some kinda mix of Italian, Irish or Portuguese heritage with a few latinas, an asian and a little chocolate. Good mix of natural and big fake titties. None of the entertainers here will hound you for dances. This club is very laid back. Some ladies will join you for a drink and chat a bit. But many, especially the most attractive ones, will not even solicit you for dances, instead they hang out between the two bars waiting for patrons to approach them for dances. So you may have to be proactive if you want to meet up with a dancer that you want. The bouncers and staff here are great and will help arrange any introduction to a dancer you find attractive. However, on Saturday nights when it usually gets really crowded, even if you tip a lot on stage and manage to flag down a dancer you like, you still may have to literally wait in line to get a private dance, and many of the most attractive dancers are booked solid all night. Therefore, my recommendation is to try this club any time except Saturday night, especially since all the ladies work other shifts besides Saturday night. The dancers put on decent stage shows- some pole tricks, lots of boobs in the face, maybe a glimpse of beaver here and there but no spread eagles:( At the stage a little touch is ok, a big touch not so much. Its not like the anything goes at Cadillac Lounge. The Lap Dances cost $5 per song paid directly to the club before you enter the booth and another $20 per song for topless or $30 per song for all nude paid directly to you entertainer. The LD’s are done in semi-private booths that are enclosed by a door that can be seen over. The contact level of lap dances here is way more then in most states, especially Mass. All will let your hands roam freely north of the equator, about half may allow you to roam in the tropics. Beware some entertainers will give you the same dance in the Champagne Room as in the LD area. However, the ones that whisper to you that the CR is a more “intimate” experience will make you wish you hung on to that napkin that the staff kept insistently slipping under your drink at the bar. Unfortunately theres no waste basket in the CR like Caddy and Foxy so be careful if you spill that drink! The Champagne Rooms are totally private booths that are enclosed by a floor to ceiling solid door and have a leather love seat - pun intended. They cost $30 paid upfront to the club at the entrance to the CR and $100 to the entertainer for 15 minutes, which is less then Caddy and Foxy. As far my CR experiences- although most dancers have made me feel like a big shot by telling me that I look like Hugh Jackman and some just blew me off…that is when I tried to make some conversation ;) I’ve only found a few over the years that I could actually connect with if you know what I mean. And when I did, it usually meant I had to do at least a half hour and that I had bring my friend Jimmy along. A CR tip- Best bet for beginners out there is to go with the dancer who shares the same name as one of Charlie$ Angels. Desire has a couple of downers. First- the mens room is way to small with only one stall and two urinals. When I urgently need to drop a deuce I don’t need some dude with a prostate problem taking a 5 minute piss in my way. Late on weekend nights it’s the worst with a line out the door, the one toilet over worked and overflowing leading to someone puking in the sink or taking a dump in the urinal. Second- this place goes way overboard for bachelor parties. I want to see tits, ass and pussy on stage not some bachelor’s hairy ass. At least move that weird fraternity-like shit to the side stage. Third- the ladies need to spend less time gossiping in the dressing room and smoking and more time out on the floor hustling. Theres times I have left this place with a pocket full of cash that I wanted to spend on a dancer who I tipped on stage but who never re-emerged from the dressing room. Finally and the biggest, as well as the source of the “regulars club” complaints- many ladies spend hours sitting and talking with patrons who don’t buy dances and then disappear to the dressing room only to reappear and make a beeline to sit with the same patron again or another “regular” they know who doesn’t buy dances either. These are all just minor annoyances compared to all the good things here. And when I meet up with my favorite “entertainer” for an “intimate” CR it still puts Desire at or near the very top of all the clubs for me. Stay safe and enjoy.
