I made a late night drop in to find a little fun on the way home. I did not find the right place. Hooked up with Cookie who has been there a real long time and has lost her former Memphis TigerBelle track figure and is now kinda matronly. ONE hot chick who was struggling to get dances. Wierd atmosphere and the girls were just as much a part of the cause as the guys sitting on their hands. One real slutty looking Asian who I wanted to test on the couch but she was more interested in sitting and getting drunk plus I could not get Cookie to move on. Politeness dictated by former connections. Same dam dippy DJ, same self important bouncers, nice waitresses who get pushy when not many drinks have been sold on an evening. This place is continuing a gradual decline that shows no sign of resolution. To make this place hot will be tough given that this is the prime time to accumulate talent. No talent is a problem all over town, the Vu included. Great prices and some contact allowed but not much. Sad compared to old days not that far back.
