my wife and i visited sammys on 6-3-05 and 6-11-05. after 2 visits we can say that this club is as close to the pink pony in atlanta as it gets in birmingham. $6.00 per person to get in - $9.25 for pitcher of beer. mixed drinks reasonble around $5.00. topless club only. girls range from 6 - 8's

most dancers thank you after you tip them. a few don't. lots of couples visit this club. we felt safe. big bouncers who did not let things get out of hand plus a police officer on duty. they gave us a free shuttle back to hotel. we tip the driver. manager (david) seems very nice. he has been there 14 yrs. no table or lap dances permitted here. private dance is $20.00 per song but not recommended. music reasonably good. dj works hard. music not to loud. service from waitress staff is good. one of the things we liked best, was the lack of smoke in the club. the ventilation system and overall enviroment is good.
