I was staying nearby and decided to check out Springfield. I walked into Center Stage and then walked right back out. First, there's a metal detector, they scan your ID into a computer, and then you walk past an armed police officer to get toward the bar/stage area. The stage is elevated so that you can get a view from a few feet away, but it doesn't do much good if there's not much to look at. The ratio is this place was comparable to the men's room at Planet Fitness. I did one lap around the stage and walked right back out. They can keep the $6 cover. Not my type of place.
