Websites and newspapers both said that Deja Vu had made its move the Mermaid building this week...but it didn't happen. Liquor Control Commission issues according to dancers. I'd planned to hit both but settled for The Mermaid and wasn't disappointed, except that Angel wasn't available for a dance all night. However, I was lucky to meet Jessi, who said she was in her first week at Mermaid after dancing at the Palace. Jessi is excellent: good personality, a pretty blonde, fine natural body, and good contact in private dances. She gets an '8'. Also spent a little time with Lexi & Cindi who were OK in 2 for 1's but lacked the connection that I felt with Jessi. I'd give them both a 5 or 6. I've certainly had a lot worse! They've done a nice job re-habbing a pretty grim building into the new Mermaid. It will be interesting to see what they do with the Vu side if they ever get it open. My only other complaint: the DJ gets worse every time I go. He says exactly the same thing before & after every dancer: "Here's the sexy (name)...Take good care of her & she'll take care of you." Every freaking one all night. Advice if you are coming from out of town: MapQuest it or you might never find it. Between being on back roads and having no signage you could drive right past and never see the Mermaid or the new Vu. And how about some reviews from someone else but me!!!
