Had a "date" with a former Wild Goose dancer who is sympathetic to my need for afternoon rendezvous and has recently jumped over to the Palms from the Fantasy Castle. Got there around 2:30pm. She texted me that she was running a little bit late so I figured I'd have some time to scope the place out to see if much has changed since my last visit there about 4 months ago. Nope. Still free cover during the day and the same cute and very friendly bartender from last time, who remembered me. Saw a bunch of new, yet familiar faces - a few dancers that I know from other clubs have discovered the Palms and decided to make it their new home. Good choice. This visit had by far the most activity that I have ever seen there on a Saturday afternoon, and the dancers confirmed it saying that the place is really picking up. I was having a great time chatting up the dancers and then I remembered why I tend to shy away from topless joints - the alcohol makes some guys unusually curious and creepy. There were a couple of older guys at the bar staring at me a little too creepily as I interacted with the girls so I grabbed a handful of dancer and made a run towards the LD area. They used to offer bed dances but the beds are now gone (dammit). Maybe someone pushed the envelope too far in this fairly low mileage place so they removed the beds. Dances are still $20 (tops & bottoms on, of course). Being the nude clubrat that I am I always feel gypped when getting dances at topless places - no naked parts. But the girls @ Palms help make up for that by providing very sensual dances. They can never compare to nude club dances, but it would be unfair to expect them to. Danced with both fine Asian dancers there (Asia & Liz) as well as Gina, who some may remember as Kharma at the Jet Strip.

After a few of hours and many dances later, I headed back to work. I had planned to stop by the soon-to-open Vivid Cabaret for a quick tour, but I ran out of time and excuses for the boss as to why my quick run to the restroom was again 3 hours. You'd think that he'd catch on by now ;)
