Stopped in on a recent friday...

Stopped in on a recent friday night when I was in the area. Based on past experience I wouldn't make a special trip. The interior has always been pretty nice I think because of whatever business used to occupy the building - maybe a piano bar or something. There have been some minor renovations inside on the first floor. The bar has been expanded and the little stage next to the bar is now gone. There was nothing wrong with the previous layout was and the money coulda been better spent elsewhere. The mens room stank, there was still no hot water, and the auto shutoff faucets made it impossible to wash both hands at the same time. These are all things I noticed during my previous visit more than a year ago and the fact that nothings been fixed says a lot. There were about a dozen dancers which is not many considering it was a friday night. The girls were all average to above average but the dancer quality at this club ain't what it used to be. It used to be top shelf. There were at least 4 or 5 massage girls. The ratio of dancers to massage girls seems out of whack to me. The upstairs area which includes another stage was not in operation except for the private lap dance area. I noticed more activity up there this time around so I wonder if they have changed the pricing structure to be more competitive with other clubs in the area. In the past this club never offered a private dance for less than an hour and several hundred bucks. I didn't intend to get a lap dance when I stopped in, and none of the dancers that I saw changed my mind, so I didn't ask about the upstairs rooms. There was a feature dancer but nothing special. I paid $6.75 for a beer which is steep for the clubs in this area. This used to be a great club maybe 8 or 10 years ago and I keep stopping back hoping it has returned to form but I'm always disappointed.
