So I think I'm downgrading OTB...

So I think I'm downgrading OTB to officially "hit or miss." Debated whether to take the longer drive to a Chicago club or hit OTB and chose the latter. Mistake.

Let's talk first about the physical layout of the club, because this trip was probably the most-crowded I had ever seen it and, in the end, it was the club's layout that contributed to some of the issues. There's a long, main stage with two poles. You can sit at the stage or you can sit away from the stage and observe, as there are essentially two "rows" of seats, with one at the stage and another separated from it by an aisle. At the end of the stage is a stairwell at an angle. There's also a circular, third "bar" stage that has seats around it, as well as seats in a semicircle with your back to the large, semicircular bar and facing the stage, but again, with an aisle in between the two rows of seats.

Far away from the stages and in the back of the building are a number of tables -- there are also tables between the two stages, a pool table off on the right, and VIP lounges that overlook the floor behind the back row of seats for the main stage on each side.
